Hi,

I need to access a file shared on the network, which is send as a link in email.

The link is \\server\share\doc1.doc, when clicking on it, it says "Continue to //server/share/doc1.doc? Yes/No"

When clicking on it, gives error:

"Unable to connect to the selected Mobile Data Service, please try again later.

If the problem persists please contact your administrator."

How can i make it work.

What version BES and what OS is the device on?

Is the shared folder accessable via BES?

Device OS: 6 and 5

Yes, folders are accessible from Files Applciation

and if you go to the folder through the files application you can open it???

well i did some test and directly from the link in i can't open the file. I copy the link go to file application and copy directly, and the file was opened.

Yes, but cant we have it directly open the file wihtout copying and pasting....

Is there any code or html taging to open hyperline using files app

well i copied the link from the mail into the file app, enter the user an password and the file was opened.
