I am running blackberry professional on a small blackberry server this is just for 5 users, I am using the default IT policy and all syncronizing of mail and calendars is working fine with exchange. The problem is I want some of the users to be able to use the blackberry as a tethered modem it is enabled in the IT policy and connects to the laptop and communication is fine that is I can query the modem the problem is when I dial out I get unknown application on the balckberry and it does connection I think the balckberry server is blocking app it needs to use but I can't find it, I have allowed none blackberry apps on the server and its still the same any info would be much appreciated.
