Hi,

We have been creating an app to register with for push messages. The app was sent to UK and it registered successfullyl with a response code of RC=200 received.

But i have tried this in UAE on both Etisalat and Du networks with BIS and i cant register for push notifications. The response code received indicates that the connection to the server was refused.

"Msg BPAS rejected registration"  it seems the connection is refused here in UAE.

Any help on this would be highly appreciated.

Do the UAE devices have a BIS data plan? This is required for Push.

Hi Garret,

yes the uae devices have the BIS data plan . i can confirm this as i have used both the exsisting providers, with the BIS plan i was able to browse the net and use bbm . further to it the bb logo was displayed on the top right corner.  

Strangely as i mentioned before the same app works in UK but not here in UAE .

Browsing the web and BBM is not a guaranteed test of BIS data, please contact the carrier to determine if the phones specifically have a BIS data plan assigned.

If so please reply back with the result of the registration attempts.
