Enable Push Notifications on Android Ported

I have questions about push notification in Android Application  (.apk ported to .bar).

After  read the  "Creating Push-Enabled Android Apps"  and following the steps:

  1. Generate the android application and sign;
  2. Porting the apk using command line tools (apk2bar.bat);
  3. Add the android.cfg in .bar
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <android>
       <push>
          <appid>MY_APPID</appid>
          <ppgurl>http://cpMY_APPID.pushapi.eval.blackberry.com</ppgurl>
       </push>
    </android>

    and  include manifest permission (Entry-Point-System-Actions: _sys_use_consumer_push)

  4. Sign the .bar using command line tools (batchbar-signer.bat);
  5. Install using command line tools (blackberry-deploy.bat) the .bar on BlackBerry device (Dev Alpha B);

QUESTIONS

  1. The steps are corrects?

  2. On the device, the application should appear in the notification configuration? ( Settings > Notifications > Notifications / Alerts )

  3. The process send, returns:
    Response CODE: 1001
    Response DESC: The request has been accepted for processing.
    it's correct?

Re: Enable Push Notifications on Android Ported

1. Yep

2. Notifications != Push. If you have questions about Notifications integration please post to the Android board

3. That's the proper response for a valid push message sent
