Push evaluation server is up?

Hi,

 

I have a problem with connection timeout when try connecting to push evalution server to send message. I know via email notification that the evaluation server had been down once but I have not been able to connect to it since then.

 

Does anybody know if the push evaluation server (Asia Pacific) is up yet? I am testing it from Thailand.

Today, I tried again by using sample push sample application from push SDK and  I got the error:

     Http error: 400, Connection refused pushapi.eval.blackberry.com:80

 

The sample app was modified and used to work ok before the last evaluation push server maintenance. So i am not sure if this relates to anything about the evaluation or client implementation should be update.

 

Please help.

Has your IP address changed since the last successful push?  The IP address of the server making the push requested must be white listed in order to submit a push request.  If you need to add an additional IP address please contact appworldsupport@rim.com.

I checked the my push server IP and it is still the same IP as what I register. Anyway, I have compare variables' value with values confirmation email and found that the URL that my push server is using is just "http" not 'https". This URL worked before the recent push evaluation server maintenance but after the maintenance. So I change the URL to begin with "https" and now it works fine.

I am getting a similar error when i try to use the Unregister from the client device (is it possible to unregister from the client?)

The following url is not working for me.

 

http://pushapi.eval.blackberry.com/mss/PD_subDereg?serviceid=XXXXXXXXX;deviceside=false

 

Is there something wrong with my request?

the register url is working fine...

 

the registration process never worked from the client...is it  possible to make the unregistration from the client? or only from the server which it's ip is white-listed?

 

Because i can't white-list all of my clients....

Isn't the url supposed to be https:// ? 

https://pushapi.eval.blackberry.com/mss/PD_subDereg?serviceid=XXXXXXXXX;deviceside=false
