Sorry, when you go to Settings > About and change the drop down to "OS", what OS Version does it list?

I am a little confused about the channel. For the channel, we only need to create once theoretically, when the app is launched again we don't need to create a channel. is it correctly?

 

Because I found the PushCollector only establish the session when the application launch for every time, it doesn't create the channel again and it can receive the pushed messages.

Yes, only a session needs to be created whenever the application starts up.

Hi,

 

We set up a Dev Alpha device and a Z10 for testing your scenario and we're unable to reproduce it.

We were able to get pushes sucessfully this morning, with the app running in the foreground overnight, without having to recereate the channel.

We were on the same OS build as you.

 

Maybe we're missing something in our steps?  Could you please put the exact steps to reproduce the issue.

 

Also, are you sending the pushes through eval?  If so, I can check to see what happens to the push you send the next morning that you don't receive.  You would just need to send me the push ID, device PIN, and application ID in a private message.

Thank you for your testing. I found this problem is not always happened. I didn't repeat on this morning either.

Hi! Mdandrea. How are you.

 

That bug is repeated again after I left the PushCollector in foreground two days. I am testing it at the third morning and I found I have not got the pushed messages till now. The debug portal said the status code is 1001 and the the message is "The request has been accepted for processing."  I will message to you with the push id, pin and application id by private message. Thank you.

Hi,

 

Just got your private message.  I'll see what I can find out about the status of the push.

 

Quick quesiton for you.  When you send the push through the Debug Portal, do you check off the "Is application reliable" checkbox?

 

In your future tests, can you please make sure you check that off.  It just provides more information about the push (since it allows me to determine whether the application itself acknolwedged that it received the push).  If you don't check it, then I can only determine if the push reached the device itself (versus the application).
