Hi Mik,
Just following up on this since I don't believe you sent me a private message with your push details.
Did you manage to figure out what was going on?
Thanks,
Matt

Hi
Do we need to register for BB10 push for BIS ? Is it different from the old push for BIS ? I am using the Push Essentials for that push collector sample provided by the BlackBerry, But it seems some problem whenever I connect for registering at the device side it replies me with Error Code: 4. Reason: Socket operation timed out.

Hi Anand,
Are you working with Mik or is there your own separate issue? If it's separate, for future reference, please start a new forum post next time.
When are you seeing this error exactly? After you perform a create channel or a create session?
Also, where are you seeing this error?
No, you don't have to register for a new Push Service account for BB10. Just curious though, when did you register for your account? (Just to make sure it's not expired.)
Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt
I am not working with Mik, It was a seperate issue. It was long back that I registered for account for push and now I am getting the push notification. I think it was a BB push server issue ? Not sure though. As I did nothing special to make it work.
