Hi All,

         Iam using push service in my app , it was working at last month and now it is not working. It is unable to register blackberry server. Getting Message like this "Request to register failed. Caused by java.lang.illegalArgumentException", I don't   what was the problem, please help me.

it looks like the xml you are posting is incomplete,   have you log the data you are posting so we can see what is wrong?

Hi crispyoz,

              Sometimes iam getting like this error " Request to register failed. Caused by java.io.IOException: Network operation [Subscribe] failed. Make sure that Content Provider URL is accessible"; one month before it was working fine. Now iam unable to register it, while registeration time iam getting like this error;

Hi user17, 

That is quite a different erorr, it suggests that your system cannot access the BIS server via the network.  What URL are you using?

Try entering the URL into your browser, if not working then add this to the end of your url:

            Using ;deviceside=true; also iam not able to register, Is BB push server is down? or any other parameter is changed, for eg new client side configuration they are sented PPG Base URL is http://cpXXX.pushapi.eval.blackberry.com,

I think that us your problem, your PPG base should be:

 https://pushapi.eval.blackberry.com

           Thank you for your response, i used PPG is https://pushapi.eval.blackberry.com , then also not working. Is your push service is working?

My push service is working fine.   After you changed the PPG what respinse did you get?

Are you able to push to the  BIS service ok?
