AOL Emails Not Deleting

Even though AOL emails are deleted from my dad's Q10 device, he asserts that when he logs on to his desktop AOL account hours later that he needs to re-delete them again.  Is there a feature that he needs to enable to achieve real-time syncronization?  He finds it very annoying to have to delete the same emails on both his mobile device and desktop.

Hello conradcaplin,

 

This may be related to the Sync interval settings, try completing the following

 

1. Go into Setting.

2. Select Accounts.

3. Select the Email account.

4. Select Advanced at the bottom.

5. Scroll down to Sync interval.

5. If Push is 'on'  then this option would be grayed out, turning Push off  will allow you to change the Sync interval. This is outlined here: http://docs.blackberry.com/en/smartphone_users/deliverables/48934/emailSynch.jsp
