(mobile network option was greyed out). it wouldn't even give me the option to connect to the network..After backing up the phone to my computer, and reseting the device, it was going throught the setup wizard but stopped and now only shows a blank purple screen. Whats going on and how do I fix this problem?

me too feel the same issues. but in my case it still can connect mobile network but i cant make or received any call... so wierd.

Did you guys removed and re-inserted battery, after software update?

I understand that so your saying you can't connect to the network correct? did you try to do battery pull first?

Yes I've done a battery pull. I've also contacted Sasktel Mac to resolve the issue and they didn't know what to do either. They said to back up the phone, and then perform a security wipe. I did those things, and now I have a blank purple screen..
