Local Contacts

Good day to all,

At a certain point in time I had to delete my local contacts in order to avoid certain hang-up problems.

Now I need a way to recreate the local contacts from my synced copy (activesync), is there a way to do it.

Your help would be appreciated.

Sincerely,

Sherif Stefanos

Re: Local Contacts

You can export your AS contacts to an XLS or CSV file, import in to Outlook on a PC and sync that your BlackBerry10 device, Q10.

How does he 'select them all'?

Re: Local Contacts

Hello J,
It's sad there isn't 'select all' option, isn't it? One by. One is the only way so far.

Re: Local Contacts

Thanks guys for your help. I got it to work by using jsanders' solution, but now I don't show the activsync contacts as if the device does not sync them anymore. Is there a way to force a sync with the server?

So your AS contacts are deleted? or just not there?

Try making a change to any AS contact, or add a new one on your BlackBerry.

Add a new on your web account?

You can also set the AS email account to sync "manual" and then try initiating a sync.
