No Audio during video recording

Hi,

 

I am unable to record audio with video on my Blackberry Q10. This problem has started recently. I have checked the volume settings on my phone, restarted the phone many times, deleted all applications installed and still the problem is there. Request urgent support on the same.

How did you restart the phone?

 

Try a hard reboot... first press and hold the up and down volume side keys, both at the same time about 30 seconds. You will see a screen shot saved, and then the screen will go black. After the reboot, try your video recording again and test the audio.

 

If still not, Do a different hard reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

It may because of Hardware Failure check with other recording softwares..

I tried rebooting my phone, but problem still persists.

 

Got a reply from Blackberry Support, they have asked me to take the handset to their service center.

 

Thank you for contacting BlackBerry Customer Support.

According to your issue, we want you to check your device to regional service center for hardware assessment/repair.

Before you do that, I'd encourage you to download and install this BlackBerry-provided tool, and see if the hardware is truly an issue. Run the audio tests.

Open BlackBerry World on your device. Do one of the following:

After 17 long days of submitting the phone at the Blackberry Service Center, they replaced my handset and gave me another Q10.
