Hi I have just got a Blackberry Q10 and for some reason it is not showing the text icon in my Hub so I don't know when a text has come in. It shows email, facebook, twitter, calls etc but not text. Also it says I have a notification then when I click on Notifications it says no entry in this view.
Texts are being delivered if I click on a contact and view activity, but I have no clue they have arrived unless I do this. All text settings are on.
Any help welcome thanks.

I'm not sure wer'e talking about the same.
In the Hub:
tap the 3 dots in the lower right corner.
tap hub management.
scroll to text messages.
check if set to I (on), if not, set to I.
leave hub management (arrow in left lower corner) and have your husband text you.

Then I have only 2 more hints:
1. there is a bug in Hub Management which sometimes turns Text Messages off ofter you turned it on. The workaround is to go into hub management, then NEVER scroll with your finger on the touch screen, set those markers to on that you want to be on, then scroll down a page by use of the space bar only (!), then mark the others that should be on, then leave Hub Management by tapping the lower left arrow.
This is very annoying but seems to work. And everybody hopes for a fix to be released soon.
Of course this will only work once you have Text Messages show under Hub Management.
2. Hub-Settings-Text Messages-tap on the little sliders icon at the bottom of screen, will get you to an advanced settings page. Maybe something is wrong in there? Unfortunately, this is very carrier specific, so I can't tell you what belongs in there and what doesn't. You may want to compare with your husband's settings (assuming you are on the same carrier), or talk to your carrier's support desk.
Hope this helps, I'm afraid I don't have any other ideas than that.
