Problem with Calendar function of Q10

Dear Friends,

 

The Calendar and Sync function is not in the CLass of BB Bold that I used previously.

After much help from many of you I have ultimately succeded in syncing my Contacts and Calendar on th eDesktop with my BB Q10.

This sync take minimum 20 to 30 MINUTES.  Which actually seems absurd. The Developers really require to look into why this is taking so much time. 

 

NOW TO MY CURRENT PROBLEM

The Calendar function seems to stop working suddenly.  

I do not get any Reminders  / alerts Suddenly somedays. TOday seems to be the bad day again.

Not a beep for any reminder. I am depending on my  I-phone    for it today.

 

Request to suggest why this should be happening without any reason. The phone is working fine. Alll Apps are running fine. 

It seesm that only the Calendar function hangs up on certain days without any particular reason. 

Is it possible that it gives me this problem  IF I close the Calendar  App / function in the the ACTIVE FRAMES ? Do I NEED TO KEEP IT ACTIVE ALL THE TIME ?

Try to re-install the BlackBerry Link. But perform a BackUp first.

 

  1. Uninstall the BlackBerry Link.
  2. Choose the Remove User Settings. Click Ok.
  3. Reboot your computer to refresh the system and to clear cache.
  4. Open a browser and go to http://www.us.blackberry.com
  5. Highlight Software > Desktop Software and Click on BlackBerry Link for BlackBerry 10 OS
  6. You will see there BlackBerry Link for PC and BlackBerry Link for Mac (if you're using s Windows-based choose for PC)
  7. After installing the software, reboot your computer again. (It will ask you to reboot it anyway)
  8. When your desktop is on, launch BlackBerry Link and connect your device.
  9. Check the Sync Configuration first then try to sync. (One way direction first)
