Q10 SOFTWARE UPGRADE

I RECENTLY BOUGHT A Q10  DEVICE AND WAS UNABLE TO SEND E MAILS.I

 I GOT A MESSAGE ABOUT A PROTOCOL LAYE.R UNABLE TO SEND MESSAGE. I WAS TOLD THAT A SOLUTION WOULD BE TO UPGRADE THE SOFTWARE. THE CURRENT SOFTWARE ON MY PHONE IS 10.1.0.238 AND I NEED TO UPGRADE TO 10.2.0.424 .HOWEVER WHEN I TRY TO UPGRADE VIA BB LINK I KEEP ON GETTING A MESSAGE" SOFTWARE UPDATE ENCOUNTERED ERROR"  AND TO TRY AGAIN

PLEASE HELP AS I URGENTLY NEED TO SEND  EMAILS FROM MY PHONE

On the device, go to Settings > Software Updates.
