Q10 has reverted back to 10.1

And this is causing the battery problem. When trying to up date, it says that it is updated to the latest version. When connected to my computer, it is not recognized.

Reverted back... on it's own? With no interaction from yourself?

Re: Q10 has reverted back to 10.1

Yes. Did it yesterday apparently. Notice that the device was warm and the battery was going down at a faster clip. Went by the AT&T store today and of course they didn't know a thing about BB's.

Re: Q10 has reverted back to 10.1

What exactly is the current loaded OS? Settings > About?

How did you load the 10.2 that was on the device... do you recall which version of 10.2.x.xxx it was?

Re: Q10 has reverted back to 10.1

Did a upload on the phone. It was 10.2 and worked just great. Now it is 10.1, which is why I returned the first Q10 to AT&T, Eats batteries like there is no tomorrow and heats up.

Re: Q10 has reverted back to 10.1

Jim, I've updated the Autoloader thread to include 10.2

The other thread has now been updated to include links of the officially released 10.2.0.1803 operating system for all models of BlackBerry10 devices (Z30, Z10, Q10 and Q5). Check the instructions in the first post of this link:

Upgrading OS10 devices using Autoloader: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-10-OS-Device-Software/Upgrading-OS10-devices-using...

************

After any OS upgrade on a BB10 device, it will take 48-72 hours for the device data syncing of email, contacts, social apps, etc., to complete and finish. High data transfer after an upgrade cause high processor use, which in turn causes high battery usage. Likewise, high processor use will cause some lag and initial slowness. Ignore and and be patient. It can take the 48 hours for all contacts to sync back to the device. And, the battery will recover after a few days. Just don't drain your battery to 10% or less each time, top off the charge. You'll notice a difference after a couple days.

Re: Q10 has reverted back to 10.1

Thanks. Leaving town for a few days, so I will put this off until I return. Has not AT&T released 10.2?

Re: Q10 has reverted back to 10.1

No, ATT has not, and at the snail's pace they move, it could be another two months.
