got my Q10 2 days ago and experienced this issue.
when i try to send an sms, my Q10 only recognizes the mobile number and not the country code and prefix. by the way im from the philippines and country code is 63 and prefix for providers are as follows:
|Globe | TM or Touch Mobile||0905, 0906, 0915, 0916, 0917, 0925, 0926, 0927, 0935, 0936, 0937|
|SMART | Talk N’ Text||0907, 0908, 0909, 0910, 0912, 0918, 0919, 0920, 0921, 0928, 0929, 0930, 0939, 0999|
|Sun Cellular||0922, 0923, 0932, 0933|
|Red Mobile | C.U.R.E|
0938 (powered by SMART)
when i send an sms to 0917 1234567 then send an sms to another # with a different 1st digit 0917 9234567, both sms will go to the first mobile number that i sent sms to. i already tried deleting both contacts and sending the sms again but keep getting the same results.
i have in my contacts list same mobile numbers with different prefix. when i send an sms to 0917 1234567 then send another sms to the same number with another prefix 0922 1234567, both sms will go to the first mobile number that i sent sms to. also tried deleting contacts and got the same results.
has anyone experienced this?
i experienced this for both Z10 and Q10 phones, think maybe this has something to do with blackberry10.
