When I select any font size above 9 and try to text from a bb to any other type of phone the texting window does not scroll down past 2 lines as you type. This does not happen while typing a bbm. Only while typing a regular text. I have the latest software update and the only way to get the window to scroll down is with your thumb.

Hello BigShooter01 and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Sorry to hear you're having an issue with your device and text messaging.
To clarify, when you are composing a text message, once you reach the end of the 2nd line, the text does not scroll up so you can view the third line as you type?
Under Settings>About>OS what's the full software version you are using?

That is correct..after typing the 2nd line, the texting window is not scrolling upwards as I type so I can see the 3rd or fourth line etc.. My software is up to date on both of my Q10"s and the os is Q10SQN100-3/10.1.0.1720.
This does not happen when typing a bbm as the window scrolls up as it should when you are using any font size above size 9.
This only happens when typing a regular text message, from a bb to any other type of phone when the font size is above 9.

I am having exactly the same problem. It appears to be a software glitch. Unfortuantely I have low vision and I can't read anything below 14 point font. This is a real pain!

same here, my service is with AT&T and the text box is very small compared to the bigger screen of the Q10. Only allows 2 lines and requires a manual scroll down. This is a major downgrade compared to the Bold and substantially reduces productivity while texting.

Has anyone looked into how to fix this problem yet? My mother has a Q10 phone, and has exactly the same problem. She prefers to use a 14 size font so that she can see it easily, but if any font size over 9 is used, then the text will not scroll within the box after a second line is entered when trying to send a text message. Very frustrating for her! This was reported on this site and other sites as far back as May, yet it has not been fixed. Rogers technical support was pretty useless. They just gave us a link to the User Guide.
