Receiving double emails

Emails forwarded to my BB Q10 are loaded twice, simultaneously.  So, I have pairs of messages.  Then, when I delete one of the two in the pair, both are deleted.  Home PC downloads into Outlook with no anomalies.  This just started today, other ops normal.

What is the protocol being using with the email account experiencing the message duplications? Is the email account added to the BlackBerry Q10 smartphone using POP or IMAP? Are their other users you know of experiencing this issue on the same mail domain with their mobile devices?

Are the duplications appearing on the BlackBerry Q10 smartphone for every message received from this email account?

POP3 account.  All emails double loaded for about 6 hours, then all back to normal.  Normal since.  Odd thing was that deleting one deleted both, unlike any previous episodes originated at ISP.
