Re: Rotation lock icon doesn't exist

Hey swift2014,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Thanks for the question.

I will investigate this further to find out why the rotation lock is gone.  Have you check under Settings>Display to see if the setting is listed there.

I look forward to your reply.

Cheers.

Re: Rotation lock icon doesn't exist

Hi ViciousFerret,

Yes I checked under settings>display and it's also not there .
Do you think that I should do a full format for the device?

Thanks & have a good day

Re: Rotation lock icon doesn't exist

I'm posting from my phone so maybe I can't see some details but did the Q10 ever have a rotating screen to begin with?
My Q10 is running 10.1 and it has never had rotation.

Cheers. :smileyhappy:

Re: Rotation lock icon doesn't exist

I'm running the latest 10.2 on my corporate Q10 and there is no rotation lock.

In addition, rotating the device to landscape does not cause the screen to adjust in any of the applications I've used.

Re: Rotation lock icon doesn't exist

wow, i believe it's a bug in doc. i've never seen rot-lock icon in q10 v10.1, nor 10.2 and it was reasonable to me. why to rotate square screen for?

Re: Rotation lock icon doesn't exist

One reason why I'd want this functionality on the Q10 is because the speaker is on the bottom of the device. If i'm watching a video with the device rested on my body, the sound is muffled. If there was rotation I could flip it on its side and watch with the speaker being exposed
