Re: Unlocked BlackBerry Q10 for CDMA Carriers

Most CDMA carriers have a closed network requiring only their network branded devices on their network.

If Appalachian Wireless is open, do yo know the radio bands it uses for data?

To your question, the Q10 from Verizon comes unlocked and will worked off the shelf with a GSM SIM card in it.

I don't know about on your carrier.

Re: Unlocked BlackBerry Q10 for CDMA Carriers

I am not sure on Appalachian Wireless' network, the reason I am asking to use a Verizon Q10 on Appalahian Wireless' network. I'm pretty sure Appalachian Wireless isn't getting any of the BB10 devices and I really want one.

You will need to ask them IF they allow Verizon devices on their network, and then compare the signal bands to see if AW matches the device radio bands.
