Why did my Q10 go to "go.microsoft.com"?

Hi,

I'm new to Q10. I'm using a corporate e-mail on it (Microsoft Exchange server). I'm also on a roaming service. I traveled outside of my country last month and had the roaming data on the whole trip. I didn't use anything other than my official email - no facebook, no tweeter, no youtube, etc.

I've just received the bill to verify. It turned out that the most URL I was using while on roaming was "go.microsoft.com". Can anyone tell me why my Q10 went to that site? Was it an update of a Microsoft application? I don't seem to find any Microsoft App on it.

Your responses are most welcome because I'm ovewhelmed by the high cost stated on the bill.

Thanks.

Also, what did your roaming plan cover... all data?

Re: Why did my Q10 go to "go.microsoft.com"?

The data plan service covers only local data, not roaming. I'm just wondering why my Q10 went to "go.microsoft.com". Did my corporate e-mail do this?

Thanks.

Yes, you said it was an exchange server.

Re: Why did my Q10 go to "go.microsoft.com"?

Thanks for your reply. But I still don't think it is. Although it's part of Exchange, it shouldn't be going to go.microsoft.com to fetch my emails. It could have gone to my corporate email server instead. Unless, there are some Microsoft services running behind that.
