bbm message not going thru

I have been having problems sending bbm's for the past 2 days. They sometimes never leave my BlackBerry and they are marked with a red X next to msg. Sometimes they have a grey checkmark for ever, sometimes they have the sending icon next to them for 10 or mor minutes...I don't always get the blue D or green R next to them.....is ther a problem with server????

I would first try

Settings > Network Connections > Mobile Network, turn off the network connection and leave off a minute, turn back on.

Restart the device by pressing and holdin the top edge power button for a few seconds > Restart at bottom right.

That doesn't resolve my issues. I only have this problem with bbm. All other texting works fine.

I have done those as well as go to settings, general, network and register bb.

Still my bbm's get 'stuck' for lack of a better word. I am getting very frustrated.

Ok, so now try a hard reboot.

 

With the Q10 powered on, remove the battery for a minute and replace, reboot and after the network is back available in a couple of minutes, initial a NEW BBM message to a single contact and see if it goes through.

It is working for now. Thanks. But this problem has been recurring and intermittent for 2 to 3 days now.
