headset low volume

I just purchased a Plantronics Voyager Legend headset and paired it with my Q10.  I am having issues with the voice prompts, like when you try to call someone.  I talked to the vendor and no luck in getting it to work.  I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the voice control volume or if there is an issue with voice control on the Q10.  I just updated my phone to the latest OS version.  i used to have a Voyager Pro headset and did not have any issues on this phone.  I will probably be exchanging this unit as it is not even a week old but wanted to make sure i woud'nt be wasting anybodies time if the app has a problem.

Re: headset low volume

Is this just when hearing the voice feedback prompts or is it all media like music too? If it's just the voice control feedback voice, there is an issue with this right now. No resolution just yet.

Re: headset low volume

This is just for the voice control feedback prompt.  Is it possible to go back to the previous version of the OS?

Re: headset low volume

It would be extremely helpful if you could contact your carrier, Rogers, and explain the issue and ask if you can be escalated to BlackBerry. Those escalated issues are how these types of problems get resolved. You may have to lean on Rogers to escalate but they are supposed to do it when they can't resolve an issue.

Re: headset low volume

Thank you...I know that's more work but it's how the system works.

If you need some backup to prove it's a legitimate issue here is a list of threads I've put together to forward to a friend I have at BB:

Re: headset low volume

I took a look at some of the threads you sent and found a partial fix.  It was suggested that you go to Settings, Voice Control and change voice recognition to voice dialing only.  This brought the voice back to normal volume.  This will works for me for now until they get this fixed.

Re: headset low volume

Yeah, voice dialing only works but full voice control is messed up for many. Glad the partial solution works for you.
