my blackberry q10 and its problem with the boradcast

hii there,

could you please help me with a problem that i cant solve? , this is why im posting here so i can get the best answer.

 

i have almost 2000 bb contacts in my list, and whenever i try to send a BC using "select all " feature, it says the message has been sent but actually it hasnt been sent. i knew this when i asked a couple of friends: have you guys received my bbm broadcast? their answer was no

 

also when u usally send any BC, u can find it in any available chat in your chats list so u know its there.

 

 

just so u know, i tried sending a BC to one person and it worked out but when i selected all contacts the second time, it couldnt be sent at all... so please help

Broadcasting to over 2,000 contacts... wow.

Probably not a good idea.

 

No, I haven't received any broadcast message from you. I delete most contacts who send me senseless broadcast messages.

hi 

just so you know, i use my bb to broadcast messages regarding the news and any stuff which i find very helpful and worth sharing... this is why i have more than 2000 contacts... when u become famous, people start to add you just to get what you have... anyhow, im really sick of this issue...  i cant send anything to them till i solve it and i thought that this forum would help me out since its the offical forum, but u guys has let me down

Same here too. I have 1973 contact in my bbm user list. I tried many time to send and the mobile says the message is sent to 1973 user and then nothing is really sent I asked my friends they said I didn't’t send any thing. And also the BC didn't’t show in the open chat’s

 

I have the same devise with latest software Q10

report it as a bug to your mobile provider.

 

Try broadcasting to less than the full list (500 or 1,000) and see if all are received, helping to troubleshoot or narrow down the issue.

 

Use the new BBM Channels when it is available in your area.

hii,,

 

well well, this is not my problem only. also a friend of mine is having the same issue. so i guess this is not a network issue, but its a technical one.. broadcasting to 100 people or less than 500 is working.. this is a bbm bug and i would like to report it to blackberry company or the developers of the bbm so if you know how to reach them let me know.. when i used the version 7.1, it was ok all the time. no lagging .. no issues at all. but now... this version pisses me off...

 

have to find a solution ASAP :smileysad:

Contact your STC tech support and ask them escalate it up to BlackBerry tech support.

i already did, and they told to contact my ISP. i called them and told them about the problem and they said that the problem would be escalated to blackberry company, but im still not happy with my issue >>> :smileysad:
