Blackberry Q5, songs go missing after being transferred?

Hi!

I've googled this but haven't found any solutions..

I have a Blackberry Q5 on O2 and I bought a 32GB SD card for it, it's fully compatible, the blackberry recognises it fine.

I put my phone in to mass storage mode and I transfer over 1269 songs.. After about 30 minutes they're transferred, great.

I unplug the phone and leave mass storage mode.. Look into my music and only 78 songs are there? (Just so you know, they're all alphabetically ordered and they don't go past A, so it hasn't skipped any songs, it just stops at a certain point and doesn't show anymore?

When I then plug my phone back in, 82 (82!!) songs are shown in the folder.

Bare in mind the SD card is still using up the 6.5GB used for 1269 songs so they're still there somewhere!

They're all the same file, .mp3's.

I have no idea how to fix it! Please help me!

Re: Blackberry Q5, songs go missing after being transferred?

Hello rhysneville,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.

Thank you for your question regarding the media card on your BlackBerry Q5 smartphone.

Please backup any existing media on the card to your computer and reformat as shown here:

http://docs.blackberry.com/en/smartphone_users/deliverables/50635/als1342442914071.jsp#als1342443024...

Re-synchronize your media and test once again to see if all files are detected.

Let us know if this helps.
