Re: Can't start up Q5 after shutdown

Thanks for tips JSanders, but it has been charging for 3+hrs now in a wall outlet and I tried both things you suggested, then other combinations of keys for 20+ seconds and still nothing.

Re: Can't start up Q5 after shutdown

There are no other combinations of keys that will work.

You did try the power key also, while STILL connected to the charger?

Re: Can't start up Q5 after shutdown

I had a similar problem... The device was working and had some charge on it.... suddenly shut down and now when I plug in the charger the LED does blink and when I try to turn it on the battery sign shows up and then disappears and device is still not on.

Re: Can't start up Q5 after shutdown

I did try that JSanders. I tried almost every combination of keys and 20 seconds while connected to power source and not connected to power source. Brought it back to my Mobile support team and they sent it back to Rogers. Not sure if I will ever hear what was wrong, but will post results if I get anything back.

Thanks for your help! Wish it worked!

Do this, connect to a wall outlet charger and then press the power button a few seconds and see if you get ANY LED activity.

If not, try pressing and holding BOTH the up and down volume keys for 20 seconds. Do this while connected to the wall outlet charger.
