KEWL!!!

This just "twists my grey matter".  The first MAINFRAME computer I worked on had 256K of memory in a box the size of a 2-drawer file cabinet.

Re: 2 TERRA BITE MICRO SD CARD!!! WOW!!!

Everyone just keeps reading these announcements wrong... They're introducing a STANDARD that will go up to that size. It just means that with that standard they will be able to increase the size of cards for a long time before it gets outdated (at least, it wont get outdated because of the maximum supported size).

If we assume moore's law will keep applying, which states that transistorcount which in this case equates to storageroom doubles about every 2 years, and I believe 32GB is the biggest existing card now, it will take 12 years to get to 2TB cards.

I doubt you're going to be using your storm still then.

Re: 2 TERRA BITE MICRO SD CARD!!! WOW!!!

Finraziel is right. Moreover, the format won't be microSD.

Remember back when you had a SDCard camera ?
and then one day a new format called SDHCcard was created to host more memory ?
there was no backward compatibility : you had to buy a device able to deal with SDHC.

Fortunately, today's Blackberry devices can read SDHC, but certainly not SDXC (which is the name of the standard for 2TB).
