OS Version: v126.96.36.1997 (Bundle 1020, Platform 188.8.131.525), and running with 80 MB of disk free space.
Both have been working flawlessly for months, until last week. Each generates their own error messages as outlined below:
The Weather Channel: (Version 1.5)
The following error message appears first when the App opens up and tries to connect:
";deviceside=false;ConnectionType=mds-****** Wifi not supported".
The asterisks in the message above represent the word "public". After I click OK to that to erase the message the following pops up: "Invalid url parameter".
It's the same messages every time. I've uninstalled and reinstalled this app no less than 4 times to no avail and have removed my battery at least that many times, also to no avail.
The New York Times shortcut: (Version 1.4)
This is exactly what it sounds like and so, in my book, isn't really a true "App". It merely is a one click link to The New York Times website in the Browser. Upon clicking on the App, the following immediately pops up:
"Browser is disabled by IT Policy".
This is not true as I am more than able to open up the Browser and get to the NY Times website without any difficulty whatsoever. So, at least I have a work-around on this one, but it's still frustrating. Again, have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, with reboots, to no avail.
Help appreciated, please!
