So I just downloaded and installed the Blackjack app directly to my Storm.  But where did it go?  I cannot find it anywhere!

Word of caution though. Several apps do contain or will adware. This is not listed prior to downloads except when you install. Though some are freeware so I suppose ads are necessary.

I had to do a battery pull, but then sure enough there it was in "Downloads".  Unfortuntaely I got to play about 5 hands and then it said my trial was over and I would have to buy it to continue.

A new feature called latitude will allow you to track your friends.

has anyone had a problem with the gps being 'temporarily unavailable' in google maps? i've got the gps function turned on in the advanced options menu, and i've tried everything i can think of to make it work... kinda stumped. any ideas?

Yes, I get same message and I have not been able to get Google maps to work with internal GPS. It only works with cell phone triangulation. I do not believe that Google maps works with Storm GPS. Also, the Blackberry maps app works and tracks your location. However, it does not give directions on map.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that Google Maps doesn't currently work with the internal GPS, and I've noticed that it doesn't seem to work correctly on my Storm either.  But the triangulation is usually relatively accurate.  It'll be nice when they prepare an update that works correctly with it so it becomes that much more powerful.

I don't get a very accurate position with Google maps, terrible actually.

It's not accessing the GPS at all. I have been following a discussion in

the Google Maps forum on the Storm, Verizon and Google maps.

Thom is a Google employee (at least listed as such) he starts out talking about

the GUI interface on the Storm and how they are working on a new release (11/27)

Later in the thread he says he has no idea when the release will be.

I attached the link, the thread is long, and turns into a dogfight.

It's the only thing I have read where a rep from Google is involved.

I have tried other free map apps on the storm and none of them except bb maps uses the internal gps.
