Re: Auto Text Setting

Your question is not quite clear to me. I know you mean 'multitap' rather than 'multitab'.

If you need to enable the SureType keyboard while in the portrait view, look at Options > Screen/Keyboard.

If you want to edit your AutoText, go to Options > AutoText.

Re: Auto Text Setting

No, there is no T9 on a BlackBerry, even in the OS .75

Re: Auto Text Setting

You could try stating your need more clearly.

Or I can pull teeth.

So, do you want your AutoText to work and it currently is not?

Re: Auto Text Setting

There are known bugs with suretype vs multitap vs whatever...see this article:

What folks have found is that, when things seem to act oddly all on their own, the batt-pull reboot clears it up (at least until it gets messed up again).

Re: Auto Text Setting

I'm having the exact same problem!!  And there is this little icon when I have multitap on in the upper right corner.

Have you figured out how to get autotext back with multitap?  It's driving me nuts!

The answers on this thread didn't fix it, even the battery pull reboot.

Thanks,

Jennifer
