you don't sya what your trying to connect/sync with i.e. Windows or Mac or which usb drivers your after, obviously the blackberry 9500 but for what Operating System (OS)

Well just to let you know I installed the Blackberry Tools CD yesterday on to my laptop, which just has basic XP Home on with service Pack 3 and it worked perfect.
I am syncing with my 9500 and office 2003 perfectly

I'd quite like to donwload the usb drivers for my new storm as well. Its always much easier if the phone can simply be picked up as another driver on the computer.

well not fully sure what the problem is but there are a few things you could try:
1) see if you computer needs defraging, if it reports yes, defrag then try again
2) If that fails you could try downloading the CD again, as you may have a corrupt file in the download.
but uninstall the current CD first and delete any folders it may leave behind before doing a fresh install if that fails
If you are in the UK PM your home or work address and I'll send you a copy of my CD to try and see if that works (FOC of course)
