BB Messenger PIN problem - sold my phone

Hi All, I have just sold my Storm, (to get a storm 2) before i sold it i completed a wipe of all data, however I am now a little concerned about the BB messenger PIN - will the new owner get messages from my contacts??? Can i somehow close  down this PIN?

 

Any help will be appreciated, as Vodafone aren't helping!

it depends what type of messages.

 

SMS / MMS : no because it's linked to your carrier account.

email : no because you have removed the BIS account

PIN messages / BB Messenger : yes they will if your contacts still use that PIN.

You should send a mass PIN to all your BB friends notifying them not to use your old PIN anymore.

no because this PIN now belongs to the new owner of the device.
