Re: BING and other Verizon Junk

I just got it today via a forced Verizon REBOOT and it doesn't work!   Verizon thinks everyone is 13 years old with there junk software that is anything that starts with a V.

I also wrote Verizon the following because I'm assuming it came from them.

Verizon seems to like taking control of my phone!  I have been with Verizon for years now and It will soon be time to make a change!  I am tired of the forced reboots so Verizon can add Verizon junk to my phone that doesn't work like Bing!  What are you doing? If I wanted Bing on my phone I would get it my self!  I don't have nor want VZW software on my computers or phones.  I don't want to look at the icons on my phone.  Yes I know how to make them disappear until the next reboot. I will also make this very clear to RIM.

My Carrier: Verizon

Re: BING

The items that VZW is pushing to your phone are just shortcuts to installers.  They are not actual programs or applications.  So, if you see a new icon on your home screen (ie, Bing) you would have to click on it to go through the install process.  If you don't want to install it, just hide the installer icon.  It will not re-appear until you "unhide" it.

Re: BING

Maybe we should post on verizon forum because this one is not!

I pay enough for my verizon service to pay for these things they push onto my phone...
