BLACKBERRY SMARTPHONE 9530 APP ERROR 523

Hi Guys,

 

please help me about my blackberry 9530, How do i reset? As i open my phone An APP ERROR 523 will appear again and again.. How will i fix this? please help me...

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!

 

Possibly not directly relevant, but here is a KB that discusses JVM Error 523.

 

What device OS do you have installed? Is it up to date?

 

What happened just before this cycle started? An update? A new Theme? A new App? The tiniest thing could be causal.

 

It may be that only a full device OS reload will cure the problem...and unless you already have a good backup, there will likely be no way for you to take a backup now (the backup process itself requires a stable BB). Here is a good article that might provide guidance:

Hello! I also have such problem with BB.

 

Info :

 

Problem:  app 523 reset

Device: BB9530

Previous SW ver: PBr4.7.0_rel203_PL4.0.0.181_A4.7.0.148

DEsctop Man Ver: 500_b028_english_nomediamanager

 

When problem was happened: I tryed to instrall new themes and "Russian project" and some additional SWs (games adn etc.)

 

Actions:

1 - update again

2 - Wipe device and update again

3 - uninstall SW, Wipe device, instal SW and update

 

Tools: DEsctop manager, JL_cmder

 

Result : was not fixed.

 

 

Case 2.

 

After that phone was updated through online update or something else by another guys.

Now phone working, but has some uncomfortable issues:

 - the pictures (images and photos) are darkness or fuzzy.

SW: 9530AMEA_PBr5.0.0_rel808_PL4.2.0.179_A5.0.0.419_Bell_Mobility_Inc.exe

 

 

Now I need to fix last problem.

 

Please give your suggestions!

 

BTW: I read   "here is a KB " ,  but nothing helpfull for my issue

Well, I have been having a same problem with my Storm 9530 as well.  I am currently on 7th replacement unit (all within 1 year) with my service provider “Telus” they have very been kind to me.  However; I may also, consider doing what Mr Swhite1 did with his BB 8110 seems like a great idea.   I have error 523 on my device as well.  When I press & hold escape key I get a different message “uncaught exception index 8>=8” I have very patiently tried to fix these problem, after spending over 3 evenings in a row, I have come to a conclusion: just simply NOT to buy another BB EVER AGAIN.  I shall stick to good’ol Motorola.  I must say Moto Q is so far the best ph I have ever used.

 

Here is Mr.Swhite1’s in put.

Here's what I finally did to solve my problem,

1. Threw my BB8110 as far as I could

2. Located it and stomped on it

3. kicked it around a bit

4. Poured lighter fluid on it and lit it up

5. Picked up the pieces and put them in the garbage disposal

6. Removed the ruined garbage disposal and threw it out with yesterdays trash

I don't have the error message or the blinking red light anymore.

Or that 8110...Good luck with those who do and try to seek help here.
