I just got my replacement Storm and I noticed, like the previous one, the backlighting seems to do what it wants. Its dim one minute and it becomes bright when it wants. How can I get it to stay bright all the time?

Options > Screen/Keyboard

Backlight Timeout: 2 Min

Automatically Dim Backlight: OFF

Yah doesn't work perfectly, but I found these work best.

It is already set that way.

The screen gets bright and dim when it wants. Its annoying for my eyes.

My GF had that issue on her storm when she was running ver 4.7 She did a totally clean reinstall of the entire device and her issue went away.

This phone has the latest and greatest software. It wasnt happening before the upgrade.
