"No help"? Really? Hmmm...well, our kind volunteer, Xandrex, has tried to keep this thread up to date, but has been unable to as of late. Nevertheless, his links provide direct information as to which carriers support the 9520, which enable you to do the searching for yourself as to what OS levels those carriers currently support...I would recommend you do so.
But, keep in mind, as an EOL device, there is quite likely no further development going on at RIM, and it is most likely that the most recent OS you find will be the last available.

yabu, why did you buy a Verizon 9550 for use in the Phillipines?
Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?
You must, in order to get the RIM push email functions you are looking for, as well as additional BlackBerry data services such as the internet browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger, and much more.
So, call your carrier and inquire about having the BlackBerry Data Plan added to your account.
