why after i installed os 4.7.173 from A1, my storm had trouble with other themes.

it only works well with the original one.

So...any word on the next OS for Verizon customers? I am really liking this 148, but there is still some camara issues that need to be ironed out. Basically too long to load the app, and WAY too long between the time it takes to take a picture. My wife's crappy LG can take pictures much faster.Same issue with the video camara for the most part too. Hit the record button and it takes it's own sweet time.

Anyways, any ideas on a time frame? Any chance of my issues being addressed in a new OS update? Or am I an id10t and my issues are fixable, thus I should start a new thread so one of you generous beings can help me?

there are dozens of rumors about the release date of Verizon's next OS. No date is correct

about taking pictures : it takes time on a storm because there is an AutoFocus (that is not probably not available on your wife's LG). But I find the app slow to load, and not very practical to use except for non moving subjects. There may be ways to enhance the swiftness of your device, I can't tell because you don't give much information about your configuration. Please open a discussion about that specific issue.

In the past, when RIM released an updated version of a product, did they typically release an updated OS for the older products in the same product line?
