mellison - thanks.  however, just to let you know, those links have been around since yesterday (or Monday), and is still not "official".  I believe the official release version will be enabled to be downloaded OTA.

Which pin are we supposed to put in on the update page? I put in my voicemail pin and then nothing at all the second time and never received updates as an option. Is that why I can't see the updates? If so, how do I get the pin information?

Here is a screen shot of the Desktop Manager.

At the bottom of the screen you will see the Device Connected and that is where the PIN for your specific Blackberry will show up.

Go to Options/About and you will see the v4.?.?.?

If you have .65, then that is the latest OFFICIAL release.

If you search the forums you will find the unofficial .75 release.

I have not loaded Download Manager on my computer yet, as I am waiting for my replacement storm. My IT person wants me to wait.  So, I utilized the update link at the beginning of this thread and wired in my bb to the computer.  After my PIN popped up and I connected, the choice of .0.75 appeared.  I have not gone to the other sites to download the unofficial version.

Okay, I'm having the same issue and can't figure out why.  I've followed the instructions exactly.  I've done the "Upgrade" to .75 twice now and each time it says it's upgrading only to find out after looking at the Options>About section that it is still showing .65 at the version.  What am I doing wrong.  I've heard such great stories of how the Leaked upgrade has worked to help some of the issue with the Storm.  Thank you in advance.

Click on above.

Save file to a location on your hard drive that you will remember.

When the file is downloading, clear the close when finished button.

Pull the battery and start the Storm up fresh.

Click RUN when it finishes downloading.

After the Storm finishes booting, which should happen just before the Inauguration, plug it into the computer after you have started the install program.

Now you will see the .75 change when it is done.
