How do you remove dust from under the screen?

Re: Blackberry Storm

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!

Well well well...that's one of the hot topics on this forum (just do a Search on Dust above and you'll see tons of results!). It seems that the result is that, as the consumer, you can't. You must take it to your place of purchase for warranty evaluation.

Re: Blackberry Storm

I haven't tried but you can see if some compressed air might help.  Problem is that it could either work or it could also push the dust further into the screen.  Good luck and keep us posted.
If this info helped, please click on my Kudos. Thanks.

Re: Blackberry Storm

Thank you! I have tried compressed air and it only movs the dust to the center as you say. What is Verizon or Blackberry's position as to warranty? Can you get a new Storm??

You should have that info in your packet.  But, IIRC, I believe it's a year on equipment.  Possibly longer if you got insurance.  I bought the insurance on this phone and haven't had to explore the options.

Many users who have swapped their phones seem to have gotten refurbs in return.
