Can the Storm 2 9550 OS be Upgraded

Hello,

I am debating as to whether I want to purchase a Storm2 9550 or a Torch 9850. My questions are "What OS is on the Storm 2 9550?" and "Can it be upgraded to OS7? I know the Torch 9850 has BB OS 7.

Hello,

The Storm line, as EOL, is locked into the OS5 level, and I will never move beyond that. For the 9550, I think the final version was 5.0.0.1082 (at least that's what I have installed on my now-useless 9550).

Get a 9850, it's a great device light years ahead of the 9550.

I am moving to South Africa in January or April.. I will be using Vodacom. What BB's does Vodacom use?
