Cannot Compose or Reply to SMS/Text

I've googled and searched every Blackberry Board and have not found a solution.

 

I can receive texts but there is no option to reply or compose. I have options to email, MMS, Pin...

 

I think it happened 3-4 days ago. I want to say the option was removed when I did an update from the blackberry site. It is very odd because the other options are not missing. This is not an Enterprise phone.

 

I called my provider and they think the have a solution but the SMS option in the OPTIONS menu is missing.

 

Any suggestions?

We just bought a World and there is no option to Compose or Reply with txts.  Please let me know if you found a solution.

"World"... do you mean the 8830 World edition BlackBerry?

 

Has the device been provisioned to your carrier? Have you inquired with your carrier?

 

Was the device bought used... from where?
