Change fo password - can't access mail now

I have a gmail id which i access from my handheld as well as desktop pc. recently I changed the passowrd from the desktop PC of this gmail account. Now I have stopped receiving mails on my handheld. The last message received was from Blackberry.co telling me to update my password. But I am unable to do so as the handheld is not accepting the old or new password. Please aid me in solving this.

Access the BIS log in site from your BlackBerry or desktop PC, and use your BlackBerry BIS username and password there.

 

When in that setup site, you will find your gmail account. Change your password to your current password for gmail there.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

 

Contrary to the discussion in this thread, your issue sounds like the Device Lock Password. As such, there is nothing to be done. There is no "master" or "back door" password to unlock your BB. Only the Device Lock Password that you created can unlock it now. BBs are the most secure mobile device on the market, but the human component of that security is critical to success. The only option is to fail the maximum times (normally 10) and allow the BB to wipe itself clean...and then start over as if you just received it brand new.
