My phone has suddenly started to just eliminate contacts at random, or not even accept new contacts when I sync with my laptop. Is there a limit on what the device can hold? I have around 5500 contacts on my laptop (outlook).
Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the ones that have disappeared.
HELP!

Your contacts are limited only by your device memory. I've seen more than 20,000 on a BlackBerry.
First thing? Check the File Free at Options > Status, what is the number at File Free?

Open your Address Book > press the Menu key > Filters.
Are any checked?
Uncheck them.

Thanks for your reply. Tried the suggestions but no luck. Here's what I have discovered...when I go into the BB desktop and select Organizer, then "Select data to synchronize" only calendar, tasks & memo tabs are available. The contacts tab is muted and the message says "not available"
I tried the reset but it only resets the others, still not contacts.
More ideas anyone? Thanks in advance
