I added a Gmail account to my Storm 2 but then decided to to close the account thru Gmail and then delete it from my device. I still have a residual "Contact List" from that Gmail account but can find no way to delete it. Verizon and BlackBerry tech support folks couldn't figure out how either other than wipe unit and reload/reactivate it. My device is connected to a BB Enterprise Server - don;t know if that affects this glitch. It seems that the invalid list is "stuck" in the software. Maybe a future device software update resolve this. Any feedback?

Open Desktop Manager > Backup/Restore > Advanced.
Look in the right hand pane at the databases on your device. Do you see the address book for that gmail account?
Click once to highlight it and select CLEAR from below to delete it from your device.

On Desktop Manager, the right hand panel has only a very limited # of items available (~80% are grayed out)...nothing relative to that particular Gmail account is indicated.

How many Address Books do you see in the list?
You are on a BES account. You will first need to unplug, close DM, and then read this link to enable wired sync.
KB03312 Unable to clear databases on the BlackBerry smartphone using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager when activated to a BlackBerry Enterprise Server
And then you should have more available options.
