Device Shutting down

My BB keeps shutting down, when it reboots it automatically shuts down again but it gives me a msg- turning off handheld device. Next turn-on will be ---- at -----. Touch any key to abort. It however will not allow me to abort this. How can I fix this problem?

I would suggest trying a different battery in the BlackBerry Storm 9550 smartphone and then monitor the performance.  Let me know if the issue still persists with the new battery.
