Found Google Maps for the Storm. Open the Storm's browser go to http://www.google.com/gmm . Either set your browser to BB Browser or bookmark it and then change the bookmark's setting to BB Browser. You have to be in mobile browser mode to see the links. I got there originally from Google Mobile-Help-Google Maps-Installing-Then linked to the install page.
It's cool. The regular maps are very detailed. The "Street Views" and "Satelite Views" are amazing.
They are amazing indeed, but it certainly didn't know where I was. I was in my home and it placed me in a baseball diamond across town? At least VZnav is correct within a few house numbers.
This is fantastic - good find! Although I do agree that the accuracy on my current location is terrible... It did say GPS currently unavailable, perhaps that bug isn't worked out. The Blackberry maps are very accurate but not nearly as feature rich.
Super cool. But...I installed it and even found my house on street view. Then, I went and did something else, but cannot get back to googlemaps..where did it install to? I do I launch it again? if I go to the web page bookmark, it jsut brings me back to the beginning...
