Groupon App

After loading the Groupon App to my Storm 9550,  I keep getting the message "No network connections is available.  Please turn on the mobile or wifi connections."  I have checked the connections...they're on.  Uninstalled and reinstalled...no help.  Taken out the battery...no difference.  Any suggestions?
