Hi,

This is the most definitive article on maximizing memory I have seen.

It's written by J_Clark a fellow user here. Complete pictorial and step

by step instructions.

Thanks,

some people are having problems doing this so heres how to do it, the easy way:

1. back up storm (highly recommend this to all who have yet to practice this)

2. go into c> program files > common files > research in motion > shared > loader > java > the largest file in there is the sample pix. File name is net_rim_bb_medialoader_backgrounds_360x480_t.cod

3. move this file to another location

4. Run the OS update and you've got 5 more mb

I did steps 1-3 with no hiccups... now how do I do step 4?

Pardon the ignorance, I'm trying hard to do my best here.
