Help...multiple calendars

New BB user... somehow I have two calendars now on my device 1) Device Default and 2) xxxx@xxxx.xom

The device has all appts on it but my computer Outlook calendar has deleted all the 1) device default appts (which happens to be over 95% of my appts)

Now when I add an appt on my device or computer they go to the xxxx@xxxx.com calendar (which I would like to delete from my device and get back to just one calendar)

What has happened?

Please use plain text.

Re: Help...multiple calendars

It has happened to me.

The key here is to get ALL of your calendar entries FIRST back into Outlook.Reenter them manually if you have to, or you can play around on your BlackBerry and try to select the calendar which has most of your appointments and resync to Outlook.

But however, make sure Outlook is up to date, before doing the below.

If you are having errors in your Calendar on your BlackBerry, and you wish to delete the entire Calendar database on your BlackBerry, follow the directions below. Make certain you have a good copy of your Calendar elsewhere, as this procedure will complete delete ALL Calendar entries on your BlackBerry.

1. Open Desktop Manager on your PC.

2. Open up Backup/Restore > Advanced.

3. From Advanced you'll see a split pane screen. The RIGHT pane is what is going to be backed up from your device and the LEFT pane is a list of the currently existing databases on the PC.

3. Highlight on the right side your Calendar database and click the arrow in the middle pointing to the left. This will copy the information over and prepare it for back-up. This SAVES your device calendar database to your PC should you have a further issue later.

4. Once the back-up has completed, hit the Clear button at the bottom to erase and clean out the entire Calendar database.

5. After it's finished, it will ask you if you want to save the back-up you've created, say yes and check the device to make sure the calendar database has been properly cleared out.

Now, resync the necessary contact information with Outlook and you should be set to go.
